TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION

The meeting will be held at Hotel Abba, where single and double rooms may be booked.  There is also Hotel NH Balneopolis which is just next door.  You should book your own accommodation in either of these hotels. 

When reserving your hotel room please, indicate to the hotel that the reservation is for a participant at GEMINI's meeting by quoting: GEMINI-COST meeting in SERIDA.

TRAVEL

It will be your responsibility to get from the airport to the conferene venue (Hotel Abba). It is very easy to get from the airport to the hotel. Click here for travel details.

The nearest airport is Asturias (Oviedo aiprrt) and is around 45km from the conference venue. To get to Gijon you can catch a bus, the company is called ALSA, the buses have no numbers but catch the bus that says Gijon).

Another local airport is Leon (1h 20 min by car) or Santander (2 h). If using these airports, we suggest you meet people to rent a car.
