Welcome

In summer of 2007 we applied for a COST Action program entitled "Maternal Interaction with Gametes and Embryos". Our application was successful and on 28th February 2008, COST Action FA0702 started its activity by having its first Management Committee meeting convened in Brussels.

This Action is aimed to promote further understanding of mechanisms of interactions of gametes and embryos with their maternal environment by joining laboratories from different countries with excellent expertise in the fields of reproductive biology. We have selected the acronym of GEMINI (Gametes and Embryos Maternal Interactions Network International) for our action.
